Marieke Koerts studied Tax Law at the University of Groningen. She has also obtained an LL.M degree in International Taxation at New York University.

Marieke started her career as tax lawyer in 2009 at one of the Big Four firms. She is focused on assisting (multinational) corporations on a broad range of (cross-border and domestic) tax issues. Through the years Marieke developed a particular interest in the cross-border transfer and/or conversion of companies within the EU and from the EU to third countries and the tax issues related to these kind of transactions.

Marieke published several articles and regularly comments on tax jurisprudence.
