Gerben Markink

Gerben Markink studied Fiscal Economics in Tilburg and European Fiscal Studies (indirect tax) in Rotterdam.

Gerben worked for 15 years in the VAT practice of KPMG Meijburg, last in the lead of the Rotterdam and Den Haag VAT practice. From 2008 he is teaching VAT and RETT at the Amsterdam School of Real Estate and he is also writing on real estate relating topics for Kluwer.

Gerben is an all-round VAT and RETT specialist and has focused on international supply chain, real estate advisory, financial services, private equity and cash flow optimization.
