Atlas assists argenx with Dutch tax agreement regarding business restructuring

A team of Atlas Tax Lawyers led by Matthijs Wierenga (tax partner) and Frank Schwarte (transfer pricing partner) has assisted the biotech company argenx reach an agreement with the Dutch tax authorities regarding an anticipated business restructuring.

In the business restructuring, argenx’ IP and residency will be moved to Belgium, in an effort to better align its IP and corporate structure with value creation. The agreement with the Dutch tax authorities addresses the tax and transfer pricing implications of this business restructuring.
