Christiaan Herman de Groot
Senior associate
Christiaan has been working in the M&A/National team at Atlas since 2017 and focuses on Dutch corporate and personal income tax matters within the context of M&A transactions.
Christiaan focuses on advising on corporate and personal income tax matters in all stages of M&A transactions (both buy-side and sell-side) such as tax due diligence, deal structuring, SPA negotiations and the design and implementation of management incentive programs. Further, Christiaan has an interest in setting up private equity and venture capital funds in a tax efficient manner.
Christiaan has recently been involved in:
- The acquisitions of Office Centre and Staples Nederland by Standard Investment
- The acquisition of Social Blue by Egeria
- The sale of the CompaNanny group to Ergon Capital
Christiaan studied Tax Economics at the University of Amsterdam. He is also a member of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisors (NOB).
