Jojanneke Sitsen
Of-Counsel
Jojanneke studied Dutch law at Utrecht University and tax law at the University of Amsterdam. She has around 20 years of experience as a tax attorney at leading tax law firms.
Jojanneke specializes in formal tax law and assists Atlas in this area. She provides legal advice and assistance in tax discussions and disputes, for example, in the event of an audit or a bookkeeping investigation by the Tax Authorities and Customs Administration, extensive letters of inquiry, information decisions or additional assessments, with or without (high) fines. If necessary, litigation can go all the way to the highest instance. Jojanneke has extensive experience in this area. She also represents clients who unexpectedly become involved in a tax criminal case (FIOD).
Jojanneke has registered the legal practice areas of tax law and criminal tax law in the Dutch Bar Association’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister). Pursuant to this registration, she is obliged to obtain ten credits per calendar year in these areas of law in accordance with the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
Jojanneke has been an external advisor at Atlas since 2023.
