Laura Ligthart

Laura has been working at Atlas since 2023, where she is part of the Private Clients team. Before joining Atlas, Laura worked for nearly six years at a boutique law firm specialized in tax law. During these years, she further specialized in private client advisory.

Laura mainly focusses on tax matters relating to wealthy individuals, their families and businesses. She advises on personal and corporate income tax, inheritance and gift tax for resident and non-resident tax payers. She also assists clients in negotiations with the Dutch tax authorities and legal disputes against the Dutch tax authorities.

Laura is admitted to the Amsterdam Bar and is member of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisors (NOB).

She has registered the following principal (and secondary) legal practice areas in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister):

• Tax law

Based on this registration, she is required to earn ten training points each calendar year in each registered field of law according to the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
