Roemer Schimmelpenningh
Associate
Roemer completed his master’s degree in Tax Law and his bachelor’s degrees in Law – International Business Law and Tax Law at Leiden University. He started his career in 2019 at Loyens & Loeff in the international corporate tax department, after which he joined Atlas in 2022.
Roemer is part of the corporate team, where he focuses on domestic and international direct tax matters concerning (multinational) corporations. He possesses extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of Dutch corporate income tax, Dutch withholding tax, cross-border structuring, international tax law, the GloBE rules (Pillar Two) and the Mandatory Disclosure Directive (DAC6).
